• All media viewing, saving, and sharing operations are performed entirely on your local device.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

To provide you with the ability to view, manage, and save statuses, CFA Status Saver requires specific Android permissions:

• Storage / Media Access: Required to scan the hidden ".Statuses" folder on your device created by WhatsApp, and to save your chosen images and videos directly to your device's "Downloads/CFA_Statuses" public gallery.
• Notifications: Required to run our background check schedule (e.g., every 3 hours) to alert you when new statuses have been cached on your device and are ready to be saved.

4. Third-Party Integrations & Advertising

To keep CFA Status Saver free, we integrate with secure third-party services. These services may collect certain device identifiers to serve appropriate advertisements.

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve App Open Ads, Interstitial Ads, and Rewarded Ads. AdMob may collect and process information such as your IP address, device ID, and advertising ID to provide personalized or non-personalized ads based on your Google ad settings.

• Generating direct "Click to Chat" WhatsApp links via the WhatsApp API.
• Direct sharing and reposting intent triggers (sending media files directly to other apps installed on your phone).

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this app inappropriately, please contact us.
